Da Vinci code

I have to say that i am very bad reading. In Fact i hate read, especially these big books that we had to read in school. But some months ago a read i famous book, Da vinci code. That novel has a lot of critics , for good and bad reasons. I enjoy the book very much. I dont believe in god and all the time believe in some things that the book said, so for me was very interesting. Maybe for the catholics people is aggresive and fiction, but for the people that not believe in god and is not catholic , that book represent the other version of the history, the version that me and alot of people in the world maybe believe. Besides the story of the book, the way that Dan Brown wrote the book is very good, with small chapters sometimes and a story based in the reality, the fun and misterious story is better all the time.

The best architect

Is very difficult for me to choose the best architect. For me exist a best architect for each part of the history or each topic of design. Probably one of the best architects for me is Santiago Calatrava. I think this architect use his talent and knowledge of the structures in the design of the buildings. Like Gaudi, Calatrava made diferents forms and structures imposible to think that these can be made in the reality. But he can, and today most of the omportant building in the world that tlak about beautiful structures were made by Santiago Calatrava. That effort is a step for the new technology in materials and forms to make buildings.

the most important buildings of Calatrava are: Tenerife Opera house, a magnificant building with a curve in the roof. the Science museum of Valencia, building that show all his structure. Teh Athens olimpics sport complex, a complete Master plan for the Olimpics games in 2004 was made by Calatrava. The " woman bridge" in Puerto madero, Buenos aires is a famous example of the excelent design of this architect too, adding functionality to the design.

Is very difficult for an architecture student says which one is your favourite building. In my case i dont have one specific favourite buinding but i have different builnding that i like.
One of these building is the Coliseo located in Rome. Is one of my favourites specially for the history of the building and the intelligence of the romans people to build so huge building with less materials and technology that today.
The roman coliseo is an icon and emblem in the city today.

For another hand i like the sports specially soccer. For that i love the soccer stadiums. In the postmodern examples of stadiums The Allianz Arena in Munich by Herzog and de Meuron is my favourite. Inserted in the context, the builnding participate in the soccer show changing the colours of lights depending which team use the stadium. the stadium is covered but this membrane that change of colour.

The nest stadium of the same architects is another of my favourites buildings too.

BBC

i Read the BBC service english and im very surpriced with the web site. the site talk about different news ( technology, sports, politic and another actual news). The most important input is the way that the web site try to explain to the readers and how they try to teach english with some texts, podcast about the same news.
The most amazing thing is that at first everyone think that BBC could bring formal and specific articles and difficult texts but the web site offer different options like grammar and vocabulary. This options explain basic things about the english , basic vocabulary, pronunciation and other options. Besides, the web site has some games like crosswords to learn english in a easily and fun way.
My conclusion is that all the people think that the web site of BBC is a difficult tool to learn english for the formal and specific items but if you explore the web site you could find many tools to start to learn a basic english.

Victoria city

The project of Victoria city is not a new idea. The concept come from the New urbanism , a discipline of the urbanism that try to resolve the problem of the sprawl city. In that case , this "small cities" have everything that the people need, including education, jobs, health, equipment,etc.
In the case of Victoria City the design could be interensting, folowwing the pattern of the new urbanism , trying to avoid the travells between the city and the suburbs.
victoria city could be a posibility of new city but the autorithies have to think in the sustentability of that, the way of the same people that live there , work there. for that , these people need especial education and preparation for these kind of jobs.

For another hand, i didnt see something about the sustentability of the building incluiding the enviroment. How they work and how they can use less energy with the natural resourses.

Is an interensting idea that need more develop in the use of energies.

Sport websites

Mi experience with the websites is not to much. In general i try to do another things than use the computers and internet. I only try to use internet to look my mail , sometimes to use msn organize some works for the university,etc. I don´t look to much websites . but sometimes i look www.terra.cl , because is a website of news and they add a lot of news about sports, including soccer, my favourite sport.
I knew this website because is very popular in the news website. They add information about the Chilean soccer and the international soccer and sports. Besides, they add excellent pictures about the information .
I dont look this page to often , only when i want to know some scores of soccer matchs like the weekends matches. For that, i think that this wesite is not a priority in my normal life, i love sports and soccer but i dont use that website enough. Maybe i use more the gmail website but only for a neccesity and not for fun . The terra website is more for fun for me.
